Daily plumping and regular airing will be beneficial for lasting comfort. When inserting cushion pads into the covers make sure that the corners of the pads are tucked right into the corners of the cover. Before use plump up the cushion pads as described below. To plump up a square feather cushion hold opposite corners and bring together several times to introduce air into the cushion. Repeat the action holding the other corners. As the fabric is waxed the only place that air can enter the cushion is at the seams. Dry Cleaning - Professional dry cleaning only. Washing - Hand wash or use a Laundrette size ( large capacity) machine at 40C using a wool cycle, promptly spin dry and then hot air tumble dry. Always ensure that the filling is thoroughly dried. This means that our supplier receives regular updates on any restrictions, problems or guidelines regarding cleanliness requirements from the most authoratative and informed sources. The authorities are satisfied that properly processed feather carries no public health risk. All feather used by our supplier is processed and prepared to comply with the Oeko-Tex 100 environmental standards. We do not supply products containing poultry feathers.
