How we calculate shipping charges

Our standard subsidised delivery and packing charge is at the following flat rate and is based on the Post Code of the delivery address.

Important Delivery and Tracking Information

All orders received by 2pm, on a normal working day (Mon - Fri), will be dispatched the same day. We also usually despatch orders received between 2pm and 3.00 pm on the same working day, but this subject to stock availability.

All orders for delivery to England, Wales, Scotland (Excluding Northern) are sent out on a next-working-day delivery service. This service delivers to you any time between 8.00am and 6.00pm.

Deliveries to other areas are scheduled for delivery as per the time scales shown in the above table.

Please note that although over 97% of items sent using this service are delivered next working day, for various unforeseen reasons, some parcels are unable to be delivered next working day. Therefore this is not a guaranteed service.

Merrick & Day do not accept any consequential losses for delayed, lost, misdelivered or delivered parcels for whatever reason. However non-delivered orders will be re-emburssed in full or despatched again according to agreement

If you will not be in to receive your delivery and would like your order to be left on your premises, or accepted by a neighbour, then please enter your special delivery instructions in the box provided at checkout.

If you do not give any special delivery instructions, then your order must be signed for at the delivery address on the consignment; please ensure that someone is there to sign for your order.

We will email you the consignement number when your order has been despatched from our warehouse.
